To tow any trailer in a safe and stable condition it is essential that the height of the vehicle's towball/jaw matches that of the trailer. Dixon-Bate Adjustable Height Towbars include a height adjustable coupling plate that provides the perfect solution.

The Standard Adjustable Height Towbar range includes three different length frames, each pre-drilled with a range of hole centres for fixing to a vehicle or existing towbar, and includes pin, slider, rclip and a selection of fixing bolts. There is also a 2 pin slider version which provides a good heigh range in a compact unit.

Photo showing product features - see below for the products		MAIN FRAME One-piece fabricated steel framework includes back-plate for fixing to vehicle or towbar, and a parallel series of vertically spaced hales to secure the slider. Provides height adjustment from 3 to 6 positions (dependant on model) in 50mm increments.

		ADJUSTABLE SLIDER Pre-drilled with 4 holes to accept either towing couplings with 2 bolt fixing (BS Au 114a) or 4 bolt fixing (BS Au 24). These include towballs, universal couplings and jaws, plus NATO pintles. Fits all Dixon-Bate Adjustable Couplings and is available as a spare. Part No. 68036.
		PIN 19mm dia steel pin used to secure the slider to the main frame in the position required. Single pin permits full height adjustment to all positions on the frame. Part No 66702.
		RETAINING CLIP Used to secure the pin in place. Removable without the use of tools for quick and easy height adjustment. Part No. 102960.
		LOCK (OPTIONAL) Special pin and barrel lock for extra security. Secures slider to frame and requires key to release. Part No. 202018
		FINISH All Dixon-Bate Adjustable Couplings are finished in a black phosphate primer for corrosion resistance and black powder top-coat. Pins and clips are zinc phosphate bright finish.
